We're aware of phishing emails impersonating PaperBanana
Recently, one or more copycat websites have been impersonating PaperBanana and sending phishing emails to our users. We want you to have the facts so you can keep your account safe.
These emails are not from us.
Fraudulent senders to watch for
Do not trust emails from these addresses:
support@paper-banana.studiohi@paperbanana.dev
More generally, treat any email from a domain that is not paper-banana.org as suspicious.
How to verify it's really us
- Our only official website is paper-banana.org.
- Our official emails always come from support@paper-banana.org.
- We will never ask for your password by email, and we will never ask you to "verify" your account by entering your password on another website.
What to do
If you receive a suspicious email:
- Do not click any links or download attachments.
- Do not enter your password, payment details, or any personal information.
- Delete the email, and mark it as spam/phishing if you can.
If you already clicked a link or entered your details:
- Change your PaperBanana password now at paper-banana.org/settings/security.
- If you use that same password anywhere else, change it there too.
What we're doing
We take your account security seriously. We're actively working to shut down these impersonators, and we've notified users by email and in-app. We'll keep this page updated if anything changes.
