Copy a template, adapt it to your voice, and post on any public platform you reach researchers on — LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Mastodon, Hacker News, your lab blog, anywhere with public reach. Email us a screenshot + the public URL. We verify within 2 business days and credit 100 credits per platform.

How to claim 100 credits

1. Pick a starting template

Use the LinkedIn, X, or Reddit templates below as a starting point. Adapt for whichever platform you post on (those three, or Mastodon, your blog, a forum, your work Slack's #general — any publicly reachable channel). Generic-sounding copy gets declined.

2. Post it publicly

Include a real paperbanana figure (one you generated, not a stock image). Keep the post live for at least 30 days.

3. Email proof

Send screenshot + the public URL to support@paper-banana.org with subject "Share submission". Include your paperbanana account email so we know who to credit.

4. Get credited

We verify within 2 business days and add 100 credits per platform. One grant per platform, up to 3 platforms (300 credits lifetime).

Cap: 100 credits per distinct public platform, maximum 3 platforms = 300 credits lifetime. The platform can be anything publicly reachable — LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Mastodon, your personal blog, an academic forum, etc. The same content reposted to multiple places still counts as one platform.

Starting templates

These three are calibrated for LinkedIn / X / Reddit, but they work as a starting point for any public platform — adapt the voice and length. Templates in English; translate for your audience as needed.

100 credits
Just used paperbanana to generate the methodology diagram for our latest paper draft — went from a one-paragraph prompt to an IEEE-ready figure in about two minutes. The planner → stylist → visualizer pipeline does a surprisingly good job at layout-heavy diagrams (mechanism flows, model architectures, taxonomy trees).

If you're working on a paper, slide deck, or research poster, the free tier covers a full evaluation. Worth a few minutes if you've been hand-drawing figures in Inkscape.
